Penn Relays

I didn’t want you to think I forgot about a third Top 100 Sporting Event that took place this past weekend! The Penn Relays down in Philly are always special. I didnt get a chance to make it there this year but I know what a great time it is. I hope to be there next year. I am sure I missed a great time.

Little 500 and NFL Draft two Top 100’s this weekend!

The Little 500 which was brought to the public eye with the movie Breaking Away is taking place this weekend at Indiana U. This is one event that is an absolute blast. As Lance Armstrong said “I’ve attended Super Bowls, World Series, and the Monaco Grand Prix (all top 100’s of course) but the coolest event I ever attended was the Little 500.” Little 500 was picked as the #75 event on the list.

Also happening this weekend in New York City at Radio City Music Hall is the NFL Draft. This one came in at # 67 on the top 100 sporting event list. Get ready to hear a lot of New York Jets fans roar thier approval or rather disapproval of the local teams pick. Each year this event gets more exciting. It might not be considered by many as an actual sporting event but it is a sporting experience and thats what this list is all about.
