February provided a crazy four weeks of Top 100 Sporting Events!

Its been a busy month of sporting events taking place that just happen to be on the list of 100 Sporting Events You Must See Live. I never realized how many of these sporting events take place at this time of year. The Beanpot, college hockey’s premier tournament, took place earlier this month. I first witnessed aBeanpot my freshman year at Boston University. I was never a big college hockey fan until I got to see this event. Since that first one this has become an annual event I have to attend. If travel doesn’t permit then I always end up watching in some New York City bar with other BU alums. As sad as it sounds as a major sports fan hockey is pretty much all we had at BU. Unfortunately I didn’t attend a Big Ten school. What I would have done to attend Penn State or Ohio State! I definitely would be enjoying many more weekends of watching college football and college basketball. Instead each year I look forward to the Beanpot to relive my college days. Another great event that just happened was the Duke vs. North Carolina game at Cameron Indoor Stadium. What an incredible event in an atmosphere that cannot be duplicated in all of sports. Forget college sporting events this is one of the best sporting events in all of sports. It sits high on the list of 100 Sporting Events You Must See Live. How about the Daytona 500, The NBA All-Star Game, and the Westminster Dog Show all happening this past month as well. I felt like every time I turned on the television this past month there was another one of the Top 100 Sporting Events on. I’m glad to say I have witnessed all of these but what I would have done to be at there once again.
